Terex Tower Crane
A downloadable mod
This is my Terex tower crane. It is kinda messy, but it can be pretty fun to play with. You will need my Caterpillar 304E2 excavator as well, as that mod creates the store category that this mod is in. This mod, like most of my mods is a WIP. I add stuff as I think of them and I am constantly tweaking and updating it. As always, let me know if you have any suggestions or feedback.

I'm :) again now I have set up the crane, but I can't find it to attach, I can't attach anything to the hook :(
question from the peanut head.... im having difficulty "building" it, i can use the "prefabbed" tower crane, but i dont need it quite so tall, and cant seem to attach sections for like a 3 "tower 2" tall crane instead of the 6 section one in the store
I think you should be able to build it using Jeremy's cranes? Butt I will see what I can do about adding different height options! I know that prefab one that I made is pretty tall haha
You make nice mods like this tower crane. I already had the liebherr 81k with tracks underneath. I only want to put the base down as a placeable ( <species>placeable</species>) , but I can't :-( any tips?
I was also making a lift for the crane, but I can't do it either. Maybe a tip for an update when it comes.

And if I am understanding you correctly, you want to place the base as if it was a placeable? You could do that, however, then you wouldnt be able to connect the rest of the crane to the base as dynamic vehicles cant attach to static placeables. If I am understanding you correctly?

You need one of his other mods i wanna say 304e2 in order for his mods to show up in the store for yo
for me the mod is extremely unstable when i buy the tower crane as a whole it spawns in extremely wobbly and doesnt stand straight up

hmmm.. it is working for me just fine. Try starting a default map with just the Caterpillar 304e2 mod and this crane enabled, and let me know if that works? Could be a mod conflict
but i cant enable the crane because it just doesnt apears for me in the mod maneger
In the old version, I could lift the crane with Jeremy Brown cranes, but I can't lift it anymore, the crane is falling over, why could this be?
how do i attach the crane parts?
I suggest using cranes from Jeremy Brown, then there are attacher joints above and beside the pieces that you can attach to

not sure if I'm missing something. shows up on my mod list, but doesn't show up in game.
Error log says," Invalid category 'Equipment' in store data!"
Update. Was able to update the store category in the xml file and it now shows up in game.
Shoot sorry forgot to put it in the desc, you need my Caterpillar 304E2 as well since that piece of equipment creates the store category. my bad!

how did you find the xml file and how did you edit it?
