I have now added another version of the warehouse, this one is transfer station style! the yard ladders line up under the transfer station perfectly, and you can dump material into hoppers from the top.
This is my build of a railroad warehouse where you can transfer materials from truck and trailers to rail. It has many different loading gates and a nice concrete deck inside for the perfect level to load from flatbed trailers, curtainsiders, or reefers to my new steel coil cars, boxcars, reefers, or centerbeam cars! The overhead crane can be very tricky, look in the pictures for how it is supposed to be setup. The wheels on each side ride in the I beams at the top of the walls. There is a "trigger" point right next to the mandoor that allows for removal of the roof, this makes it easier to install the crane, however it can still be difficult. I am working on how to make it easier. I plan on doing different versions of this warehouse with pull thru loading gates and a few other options. This warehouse was built specifically to line up perfectly with the yard ladder placeable track sections. Check the pictures for how to line them up. This mod, like most of my mods is a WIP. I add stuff as I think of them and I am constantly tweaking and updating it. As always, let me know if you have any suggestions or feedback.

how do you get the crain to fit in there, I have tried and can't get it to work please help

I have a question, is there a mod with which I can put the crops in the silos and bins? The conveyor belt is complicated. Or is there a silo pack that I can run the railway through? I would use this, but the train won't fit under it.

as for a silo, Currently I have just used the default silos included in the base game! If you place the load/unload point right in the middle of the tracks with the silos on one side, the unload pipes are tall enough even for the tallest covered hoppers!

JWeezy Construction what rails are you using for the building like in front of the building ? I am confused . I tried each section and i am not getting anywhere.
it is custom i had the same you can also use the rail fence in fences to make small ajustmants it works like the rails and you can use it on uneven ground for the old abandond feel and sharper turns but go slow on it

As for the rails for the warehouse, the yard ladder start and yard ladder extension line up perfectly with the warehouse (I build the warehouse specifically for these). that is what i used in the picture you see. MadMax is a little incorrect its not custom, but I love their idea about the old uneven ground with the fence rails!
Anyways, I suggest lining the extension yard ladder up with the bay on the end, then just line the yard ladder start up with the extension and youre good to go! Alternatively, you could build the yard ladder start and extension, then make all of the yard lines the same length and stop at the same distance using the straight pieces, then line the warehouse up with the end

can i ask why not just make the crane a part of the building or have a trigger that snaps the crane to rails the way it is is very hard to line them up even with percition hand mod same with turn table just wondering ?
If the crane is part of the building, then you cant "enter" it and control it like a crane because you cant enter a building to drive it.. I am working on ways to make the crane installation easier, I just havent figured anything out quite yet
Where is the crane located in the shop?
Can you if possible make a video of this, on how to place the crane and get the roof back on please lol

which yard ladder to use
Either of the yard ladder starts (left or right) line up perfectly just like in the picture! in fact, I believe I started with the extension yard ladder and lined it up with the bay all the way to the right, then just lined up the yard ladder start with the extension that I placed and it lines up great!
Hey Jweezy just wanted to make a suggestion, a swing reach forklift (like the raymond 9600/9700) or some sort of very tall empty warehouse with bay doors and a removable top like this one, There's a warehouse pack on modhub with racking and some bollards and we have a jungheinrich reach truck but no solid warehouse options. i was curious if it were possible to do something like this?
I also understand you may be very busy and have other projects but i was curious about this

Yes I plan on adding different versions of warehouses, I have also created a transfer station for trash that will be included in the next update, this was just the first version. I will see about adding a taller empty warehouse like you said!

are those semis priv?
he has stated before that the semis are private and he has no plans to release them. BUT there are other great semis on on this site that are similar (some great modders for them are AT fARMS, whiskey sierra, and roughneck modding)

Can't find the trigger near the door where is it exactly please ?
Go out the man door, go to your right, along the wall. Easiest way to discover it, is to have the help box (for me it's F1). You'll see where it says in the box to open the gate. Press the key that you use to open the gate and the roof will disappear.

Yeah eqicfailninja is correct, if you walk outside the door and immediately turn right and walk down the wall, youll see the trigger

Please fix all errors? how about a thank you? All you do is say this and that about you don’t like errors,you don’t wanna use it with errors, quit complaining and enjoy the damn mods,if you cant handle the errors,then don’t use the freaking mods at all dude….GEEZ
Thank you I appreciate that. I informed them of the current state of the mod, and I also informed them when the mod will be completely error free and worthy of their download
This mod is still rather early on in the development stage, I dont bother cleaning up errors that are not game breaking and that dont effect gameplay until the mod is finalized, that way I only have to go thru errors once because as I change major things, it can create other errors. I clean up any errors that are game breaking or that I notice are a major drain on performance as I go. I wanted to get this building out before I took a bit of a break from modding for my wedding, so I released it in this development stage, as I noted in the mod description. If there are too many errors for you, feel free to delete the mod, and redownload once the mod is marked completed. It will be free of errors at that time.

Yes it is! this is one of the branch lines that leads to this siding that opens up to this small yard. It also continues to the left to a siding at the store, to load new equipment and tractors and such, and then continues more to stop at a scrap yard where you can load junk cars for scrapping!

I’m so excited for you to drop the map gonna be epic,hopefully you can continue these or use them in fs25,i was thinking how awesome your new station is,wonder if a modder out there could have people ther and load em in and drop them off at another one for money, like a contract or something for Amtrak 🤪🤷🏽😂😂😂
having things like a Scrap Yard would be quite interesting :3 and perhaps things to serve a passanger line rp scenario would also be even more interesting too
My save game has a passenger loop and a scrap yard for loading junk cars!
