I usually place them over blank ground, the ones that are just dirt are supposed to sink just below the map ground so that you can dig them up with terrafarm. The ones with roads included in them are not supposed to place below ground
I usually fill my excavator bucket from a dump truck, then use the terrafarm setting that increases ground level and dump it into the trench to raise the ground level. Then I use the excavator bucket to level the ground at the top of the trench
So, after playing around I think it's your version of terrafarm and why it's not working. The only reason I say that is there is no raise function and only a lower option unless i'm missing it somewhere
I use my version of Terrafarm and it works perfect for me. are you sure you are checking the discharge options? lowering isnt even an option for the discharge, that is only an option for the digging option if I remember correctly..
Jweezy! you're mods are amazing. Do you have a Youtube channel with tutorials and whatnot? or is it intuitive once you start using the equipment? I'm doing a playthrough on no mans land and want to simulate the pipe and road construction, I have downloaded the trenches and pipes, but i just noticed a terrafarm edit. I'm probably gonna need that, huh?
Howdy Nacho! thank you so much for the kind words! I appreciate that. Sorry for the delayed response, I have been away getting married and on my honeymoon!
As for tuturials, no I dont have a youtube or anything.. I have posted in a couple FB groups of the work as I do it, if youre on FB in Expendables Modding in particular? But really it is up to you how you want to play with them! there is no right or wrong way. I work in civil construction myself, and the way that we do pipework or road construction is a lot different then other Countries, or even different from how they do it on the east coast compared to here in the pacific northwest!
As for the terrafarm, that version works with all of my equipment, so if youd like to use terrafarm with my equipment then youll probably need that!
congratulations on starting your new family buddy! I’m a YouTuber. I haven’t been streaming farm sim for long, but I do have 2700 subscribers and DjGoHam is a friend. I’m going to be featuring all of your Cat equipment on a new series that I’m starting on no man’s land. Any advice you would be willing to share would be greatly appreciated. I’d love to chat after your honeymoon. Go get u some wife brother!
Hey hey thats awesome man! I am excited to see your videos! Yeah if you want to message me on FB I can absolutely answer any questions and share some tips if youd like? I am in Expendables Modding and Custom Modding groups if you are? Chat sounds great!
Howdy! The markings will be added soon, I have been real sick last couple weeks so I havent been able to do much. But I will try and add them when I can!
Muchas gracias pronta mejoria, eres un master,la verdad que tutrabajo es impresionante,no pasa un solo dia que no me fije si hay una nueva actualizacion gracias
1: It would be nice if these were more modular. The power lines, street lights, and sidewalks should all be their own parts. To add on to this, it would be nice to have paved shoulder pieces as well to have wider shoulders.
2: The 2 lane road has way too much dirt along it.
3: The texture of the 2 lane road doesn't match any of the other assets.
4: The placable asphalt to fill in the gaps is too small or too tall, and the textures don't match.
5: There is no transition in road width, so there is no way to go from the 5 lane road to the 4 lane road or to the 2 lane road.
6: The shoulder lines on the 4 lane road should be white, not yellow.
The crosswalks and paint lines are from my placeable road markings pack, I havent uploaded it quite yet. No the stoplights do not cycle unfortunately, I tried to figure out how to get that to work but I have been unsuccessful so far. On some of the intersections, you can click a trigger that will switch which side is red and which side is green
Make sure you are not turning on free placement, and then when placed the trenches should paint the ground dirt. If you are referring to the roads, those are available in my placeable road pieces mod
Make sure youre using the narrow road pieces for narrow trenches, and you will have to lower the ground a little in the trench to get the dynamic road pieces to fit properly
could you possibly make a yt vid on how to use these types of mods you've put out? such as the roads and trenchs and how they "work together" in a way of speaking? im having problems learning how to do it mysel
I dont really post on yt.. maybe I will get somebody to post a video on yt how to use them! its pretty simple tho, just place the placeable trenches on an empty piece of land, then you can dig out the trenches using terrafarm
the pipe pack isn’t, but the placeable pipe is! Just do the installation and everything with the pipe pack, then once you have the pipe set in the trench, sell the dynamic pipe and place the static pipe in the trench from the placeable pipe pack and you’re ready to bury it!

Do you place these over existing roads or over blank ground? When i try to place them, they sink beneath the map and I can’t see where they are.
I usually place them over blank ground, the ones that are just dirt are supposed to sink just below the map ground so that you can dig them up with terrafarm. The ones with roads included in them are not supposed to place below ground
Are you using the new terrafarm with the laser and etc?
no not yet! It looked cool tho, I just haven’t setup my equipment. Have you used it?
Yea have it on my server now and would love to use your stuff on my server but cant due to your not using the current terrafarm
question: where did you get those barriers so i can close off a site while doing important repair
yes
I made those ones myself, I think FS miner has some dynamic concrete barriers that are similar!
Are you gonna upload the barrier pack? Me and someone else are planning to make a similar pack!
how do we go about backfilling? I have tried multiple ways with terrafarming and have had no success.

Thank you very much! I appreciate the kind words
amigo genial pero cuando subiras el paquete de marcas viales gracias
What is the Map that you use for these construction mods? This looks fantastic
this was on Pacific NW Farming, it’s a nice open flat map, perfect for adding my placeables!
Nice. I just found a map that is awesome for construction as well
Whats map called?
Go to Tri State Modding on Itch.io, they have great stuff. The map is an elm creek edit
A few bits of feedback so far:
Also, there are 3 different styles of the 5 lane road, and two are more narrow than the last:
And how did you get the crosswalks, stop lines, and turn lane markings for intersections?
Do the stoplights ever change cycle?
The crosswalks and paint lines are from my placeable road markings pack, I havent uploaded it quite yet. No the stoplights do not cycle unfortunately, I tried to figure out how to get that to work but I have been unsuccessful so far. On some of the intersections, you can click a trigger that will switch which side is red and which side is green
Thank you so much for the suggestions! I will see what I can do about maybe making some of those changes and possible new transition pieces
When I place the paths, the spaces between them look like this. They look normal in your photos, how did you make them?
Make sure you are not turning on free placement, and then when placed the trenches should paint the ground dirt. If you are referring to the roads, those are available in my placeable road pieces mod
how do i get the road sections flat and show up right i cant get them to show up right
Make sure youre using the narrow road pieces for narrow trenches, and you will have to lower the ground a little in the trench to get the dynamic road pieces to fit properly
nice mod.. idea how about retaining walls
Thanks! and oooo I like that idea, maybe in a future update
What that map
This is from Pacific NW Farming
Your Mods bring a much different feel to FS, very impressive!! Would it be possible to make roadway lines placeable like fences are?
Thank you! and oooo I like that idea.. Ill see what I can do
could you possibly make a yt vid on how to use these types of mods you've put out? such as the roads and trenchs and how they "work together" in a way of speaking? im having problems learning how to do it mysel
I dont really post on yt.. maybe I will get somebody to post a video on yt how to use them! its pretty simple tho, just place the placeable trenches on an empty piece of land, then you can dig out the trenches using terrafarm
so out of curiousity, is the pipe pack acutally able to be buried and stuff
the pipe pack isn’t, but the placeable pipe is! Just do the installation and everything with the pipe pack, then once you have the pipe set in the trench, sell the dynamic pipe and place the static pipe in the trench from the placeable pipe pack and you’re ready to bury it!
awesome!!!! Thank you!!!! You have put out some pretty amazing stuff my friend!! keep up the awesome wor
hey thank you so much I really appreciate that! I am always making new things and adding new things so I hope you continue to see stuff you like!
